A Wife’s Low Self Image could be healed by this Dove Soap Commercial…
Or, from the wife romance secret a husband discovers from it
100% of husbands out there need to know that their wife is in the 96% of women that in some way do not consider herself as beautiful.
You as a good husband in an inner circle of good husband, you must make it your business to know the way your wife sees her self — I mean her bodily self image. This Dove commercial is doing more than just sell tons of soap to people. It is raising our awareness of the personal low self-image that many women think and feel about themselves.
Go beyond just the occasional, “Hey Beautiful”!
“You look beautiful”!
Instead, go into detail about what unique, and special features of her body that you appreciate as well as her overall beauty. Empower her… Encourage her to see herself as beautiful. The more specific you can be the better. She will share her beauty with you if you help make her feel beautiful.
No need for head games or push-pull-play tactics of anticipation and attraction. Just speak up and speak your mind in love. Romance games can come a bit later to make sure that intimacy is growing in your relationship.
The “Dove” Perspective on women’s beauty
This past Monday, Dove Soap uploaded an ad campaign video that seeks to help women see their beauty from the perspective of others–Not just from their own insecurities. Dove has their own perspective on natural beauty. I think I like that perspective. The purpose behind their forensic artist experiment for real beauty is the following:
“Women are their own worst beauty critics,” Dove says. “Only 4% of women around the world consider themselves beautiful … we decided to conduct a compelling social experiment that explores how women view their own beauty in contrast to what others see.”
A Loving Husbands Perspective on their wife’s beauty
Again, consider your wife as being the 96% of women around the world that in some way considers herself or some part of her body as “not beautiful.” You need to be that man in her life that reveals her beauty to her by sharing with her the beauty in her body and in her soul that you see very clearly.

Be the first to start a conversation about perceived beauty, the pressure our society places on women to meet a certain standard of beauty, and the need to share with women the truth about their beauty in the comments.
